About DJ Jose
Jose Antonio Munoz, a.k.a. “Dj Jose” is from a family of musicians; born in New York City,
the Bronx, is of Puerto Rican decent, and is now in Las Vegas, Nevada. For over 20 years he
has been known as the “God Father” of Salsa for Las Vegas and a pioneer in the Salsa
community around the world. Previously known from broadcasting on the air for 5 years
with local radio station KUNV 91.5 FM, every Saturday morning from 8:00 am until 11:00 am,
his show was the only Salsa radio show in Las Vegas. As a Radio Broadcasting Host, Mobile
Events Promoter, MC, Dj and Night Club Entertainer for over 25 years he spins the most
electrifying sounds of Salsa music in the industry. He is one of the most highly experienced
professional Disc Jockey’s across the United States. Jose has worked all over Las vegas in
it's hotels and resorts such as Sam's Town, the South Point, the Tropicana, the Mirage,
Planet Hollywood, the gold coast, the Hard Rock, and more, and many other venues. he is
one of the only Radio and Mobile Disc Jockey’s to receive a full page article with
photographs in the March 2007 issue of “Latin Beat Magazine”.
